About Lily’s Leadership Lab

Lily’s Leadership Lab was born from a simple but persistent question:

Why do capable, committed leaders, especially women—so often have to work harder just to be heard, sustained, or supported?

Our Story

After years of serving in leadership across faith-based and organizational contexts, our founder observed a recurring pattern. Leaders were not failing because they lacked calling, competence, or commitment. They were struggling because leadership cultures were often unclear, inequitable, or unsustainable—placing the burden of endurance on individuals rather than on systems.

Lily’s Leadership Lab emerged at the intersection of lived leadership experience, academic research, and practical formation. Grounded in servant leadership and informed by qualitative research with women leaders, the Lab was created as a space for reflection, development, and transformation. A place where leadership is not merely discussed, but intentionally built.

We believe leadership is formed through clarity, support, and practice, not pressure or performance. Our work centers on helping leaders understand their context, name their challenges, strengthen their capacity, and develop strategies that lead to long-term sustainability rather than burnout.

At Lily’s Leadership Lab, we move beyond quick fixes and one-size-fits-all solutions. We offer coaching, mentoring, and leadership development that honors the whole leader—values, responsibilities, relationships, and realities.

Our story is ultimately about building leaders who can lead well and last well for their organizations, their communities, and for themselves

Our Mission

To equip emerging and established leaders with the tools, strategies, and frameworks they need to lead with confidence, purpose, influence, and sustainability.

Our Vision

To cultivate confident, adaptive, and values-centered leaders capable of navigating complexity and inspiring positive change.

Founder

Dr. Lily Olgiati

Dr. Lily Olgiati is the founder of Lily’s Leadership Lab, a space dedicated to cultivating reflective, emotionally healthy, and purpose-driven leadership. She holds a doctoral degree in Organizational Leadership from Grand Canyon University, where her research explored the experiences of women serving in church leadership and the strategies they use to navigate complex leadership environments.

Originally from South Wales in the United Kingdom, Lily relocated to the United States with her family in 2011 and now lives in Silicon Valley. Her professional background spans both corporate and ministry contexts, giving her a unique perspective on leadership, organizational dynamics, and the challenges individuals face across diverse environments.

Lily is a qualified psychotherapist, an experienced speaker, and a credentialed minister with the Assemblies of God. She integrates leadership development, reflective practice, and counseling-informed insight to help individuals grow in self-awareness, communication, resilience, and purposeful leadership. Through coaching, leadership intensives, and laboratory-style learning environments, Lily’s Leadership Lab creates intentional spaces where individuals can pause, reflect, and develop the inner foundation necessary for sustainable leadership.

Through Lily’s Leadership Lab, her vision is to support leaders and individuals in developing the clarity, character, and emotional maturity needed to lead with wisdom, integrity, and purpose.

Alannah – Manager, Global Communications, Rubrik

As a Pastor Dr. Lily Olgiati has helped me to develop my voice, fight for the healthiest version of myself, and mentored me as I navigated some of life’s hardest seasons with clear, practical, and spiritually sound guidance.

Healthy, confident, and effective communication is absolutely necessary for the career I am in as a public relations manager and also a leader in church ministry. Dr. Lily is a safe space that uses her authenticity and experience to help me grow in communication, and I am seeing the fruit of that day by day! She shapes leaders to make real impact and walk out who God has called them to be.

Shabina Sandhawalia – Young Adult's Pastor, Family Community Church

Working with Dr. Lily has been a masterclass in leadership and identity. Through every tough season, she has been there to call me out and call me up, refusing to let me settle for anything less than my divine calling. From making sure my pants are ironed to listening to me practice sermons, she has been consistent and committed to my growth.

She didn’t just help me find my voice; she taught me to use it with boldness, bravery, and excellence. Her mentorship has been instrumental in shaping who I am as a woman and a minister, giving me the confidence to lead from a place of true God-given purpose.

Drew Sanchez – Entrepreneur, Executive Director, Community Advocate

As an entrepreneur in Silicon Valley for over 15 years and the Executive Director of a faith-based nonprofit, I have often found myself juggling more projects than I could complete alone. While the inspiration was always there, I lacked a vital ingredient for long term success: accountability. Without it, my deadlines continually slipped, and projects I had genuine passionate for would become obsolete.

When I began with Lily’s Leadership Lab, I was a successful business owner and managing several active ministries but had sidelined the core mission I felt God called me to pursue. I was busy, but I was on a trajectory to miss my greatest blessing. I am so grateful for the Christ centered accountability and encouragement that the Leadership Lab provided during this season. They offered not only correction but, more importantly, direction when I found myself in uncharted waters. Dr. Lily gave me the spirit led strategies, foresight and the stamina I needed to reach the finish line. Thank you for confirming my spiritual gifts and championing me when I doubted myself.

I am pleased to report that I am now in the final publishing stage of my book, which is set to launch on June 20, 2026. This program helped me become a Christ-centered entrepreneur who pairs faith with works, and it is bearing great fruit.

Thank you, Dr. Lily and the Leadership Lab for the dedication to my vision and for having the discernment to know exactly what I needed in this season.

Abbigale Villines – Worship and Creative team lead, One Church

How would one describe the impact of Dr. Lily Olgiati? Well, Pastor Lily to me, probably for the rest of my life! She has done just that, pastored me, encouraged me, discipled me, and believed in me. From a teenage girl in college, to a young wife and mother; Pastor Lily has been there for me through many stepping stones. I had the blessing of being asked to dance for a Women’s Tea that Pastor Lily had been organizing and it just so happened that in the thick of 2020, this Tea was recorded and shared virtually! In an empty auditorium with a camera and a handful of leaders, I began to see Pastor Lily’s leadership up close and knew I had to learn from her immediately. Little did I know what I was to receive when asking for the opportunity to serve in that women’s ministry. Not only would I gain an incredible Pastor, but I gained a ‘ministry mom’ that I will have in my corner forever.

Pastor Lily catapulted me into serving in ministry with a capacity I had no idea I was capable of having. She exemplified to me what it meant to give God your ‘yes’ and do it with no hesitancy. She spent time with me, listened to me, and counselled me through some personal challenges I had faced from a young age. She saw an anointing on my life and did everything in her ability to set me up for success when it came to living a life worthy of the calling. She is the opposite definition of an insecure leader. To this day, I have never met a more humble Women’s Pastor who truly desires for the younger generation to do what she does, but better. She always told me that the goal in this mentorship is for me to do more than she could ever do and reach more people than she could ever reach. A task that seems nearly impossible considering this is a woman who will never give God half effort. She continues to seek first the Kingdom of God, and confidently obeys His will for her life.

Along with mentorship, Dr. Lily displays discipline like no other. She is attentive to her soul’s needs, her family, and those around her. Her love for others is so large that she makes sure to be the healthiest version of herself so that she may serve others as long as the Lord blesses her to. I always enjoyed the accountability of a 6am call time with a prayer walk or early morning worship session. When she shows up at any hour for the sake of stewarding the hearts of others, it makes you want to do the same! She is unwilling to compromise when it comes to the Word of God. A Woman that stands firm on Truth with a sound mind and a heart submissive to the Holy Spirit. What a perfect recipe for a powerhouse! Pastor Lily’s discipline is measured by two things; her love for Jesus, and the fear of the Lord. She lives everyday with a heart that is reverent and astonished by the Lord. Her leadership is deeply rooted in this foundation.

I love to give honor where I believe it is due. To fully honor Pastor Lily in the ways she has mentored me seems nearly impossible. How does someone fully thank another for not giving up on them? To this day, I am living in the lessons she has taught me, remembering quotes she has shared with me, and reaping the fruit of what she was willing to sew in me. I currently have the honor of leading a congregation in worship alongside my husband, Tyler, in Washington. I think of where I am today and know that I would not have been able to find my voice in ministry if it wasn’t for Pastor Lily’s nurturing encouragement. She brought me into rooms I had no business being in, conversations I didn’t deserve to hear, and all of which allowed me to see healthy leadership up close. I have learned that the strength of my leadership is only found in my devotion to the Lord. The way I lead others is reflected first on how I love others. The willingness to work hard for God and see His kingdom here on Earth is what it is all about. Pastor Lily has taught me that you cannot acquire leadership without first obtaining willingness. To be a leader is to show commitment. She told me that as a leader, you have to be courageous and unoffendable. This advice given to me six years ago is what I continue to live by today. I will forever be grateful for the years and opportunities God gave me to walk alongside Dr. Lily. Her leadership is a huge reason I am who I am today.
